Okay so Mackenzie was helping me fold her clothes today and some of her clothes were still a little DAMP, she said mom you said a bad word. I said no I did not she said yes you said DAM, I told her no I said DAMP then she ask what does DAMP mean, I explain and then she goes on repeating DAMP, DAMP, DAMP, DAMP mean just a little wet. Got to love it.

Flower Girl
We just got back from California and we had a great time. Mackenzie was a flower girl in her Grandpa Walt's wedding. She was not to sure about being a flower girl or if she liked the sand that took us a while to get use to. She did finally decided to be a flower girl and did a great job. The wedding was on the beach so afterward Mackenzie along with her cousins Alyssa and Jordan played in the sand. I think they had fun.

How many are to many
One can not have to many pretties. Mackenzie has been wanting to do her own hair for the past couple of days. If she is not doing her hair she is doing her bears, her dolls and even my hair. We won't leave the house with all of them in and you should see the bear who has no hair with pretties in it, it looks pretty funny. I don't know how she gets them in there, I will have to get a picture next time she does.

Birthday Girl's Special Day
Turning 4 is not so bad. Mackenzie wanted to go to Red Robin for her special day, so we went to Red Robin to eat. I told the waiter that is was her birthday. I am not sure if she was embarrassed or surprised that all the waiters came out to sing Happy Birthday. After eating at Red Robin we came home and had a Leaps Frozen Custard Birthday Cake. I think she had a good birthday. Next week we go to Disney and have Breakfast with Minnie Mouse.
I think I can swim!
Mackenzie at swim lesson with teacher Natascha. Mackenzie has come a long way. After only a few swimming lessons she has progressed so much, she still is a little scared and does not want me to help or make her swim in our pool. But today at the gym pool she was trying her best to swim from one side of the pool to the other. I think she likes knowing that she can touch the bottom of the pool when she wants to, that is the big question that I get asked. Is it over my shoulders and I can I touch the bottom. Until she is ready for me to help her I will leave her alone.

I am 4!!!
Well Mackenzie turns 4, time sure does fly. I can't believe my baby is 4. All Mackenzie wanted was for her friends to sing Happy Birthday to her, so we had a playdate at the splash park with her friends. Then we had cupcakes for dessert. I asked her what was her favorite thing and she said playing in the water with her friends. Life is so simple at this age.

Swimming
So Mackenzie started swimming lesson a couple of weeks ago, she has only been to 2 classes due to the holiday being on a Monday and that is the day she goes. But after the 2nd class she has made so much improvement. So we told her we would go and buy her some goggles. As you can see from the picture she got 2 new pair. So each day she puts on her bathing suit and ask if she can go swimming. One day she even ate breakfast in her bathing suit. That is how much she likes swimming, before it was like I am not going to swimming lesson and just the mention of it she would cry. So hopefully by the end of summer she will be swimming like a fish.
