During Mardi Gras season everyone gets a King Cake. People usually throw parties and who ever gets the plastic baby inside the King Cake buys the next cake/throws a party. Well I asked my sister to please send us one this year. This is the only way I know how to expose Mackenzie to foods from New Orleans. On they day the UPS guy was coming to deliver the King Cake, Mackenzie was so excited, all she knew was that we were getting a King Cake in the mail. Not knowing if she was going to like it or not. She refused to eat anything until that Cake was here, so needless to say as soon as the King Cake got here she was all about having a piece. I must say everything that she has tasted from New Orleans she has loved. If only we lived closer we would be driving down there just so we can eat.

Words We Hear
The other day Mackenzie was watching one of her tv shows Miss Spider. She later comes up to me and ask about being a Norphan. I told her I don't know what a Norphan is, like I am suppose to know everything. Then she explains to me what a Norphan is, when someone doesn't have a mom or dad and that they have to find a new one. Now I know what she was talking about a Orphan. She was just saying it wrong and adding an extra letter to the word. Thankfully she is able to explain the word that she was talking about and I am able to understand because if not I would still be looking up Norphan and not finding anything.

Is She A Princess or Sleeping Beauty
The other night I came home from work and when I went to check on Mackenzie, I found her sleeping with her Princess pillow on her chest. I guess she wanted us to know that she was a Princess. She just started sleeping with this pillow and now she has to make sure it is in her bed each night. We never know what we are going to find in her bed.
